Exams are on the way

Time to enter exam mode, and I really mean EXAM mode.

Fully-fledged war is about to erupt in 1 1/2 weeks time. ARe you prepared?

RIght now, there are too many co-curricular activities, which are undeniably fun but cutting in oin my revision time. That's why I'm bypassing Koko day tomorrow. But I guess that this will be the deep breath before the plunge. After June, it's "emergency" and war every other week. November will be D-day and a ceasefire is expected in early December. And that's it. We're done with school. :O Can you believe that its already the fifth month in 2oo9? Wow, just a few more months of school. And sadly though, but undeniably, just a few more months of contact with each other. We will of course go our separate ways. If I could, then I would always want to have 5Amanah by my side. Especially the 3 guys who have been with me since like form 1.

Sarwisan, Ker De-Sheng and Yuganavasan : 1D>2a>3a>4a>5a

And others too who have been with me for some time,

Dahiyah Aisyah, Jessica Ann : 2A>3a>4a>5a

And not to mention those from primary school, ie standard 1, but not always in the same class as me, Vigi and Endarah :)

So, that was just for your information.

I have nothing else to say except a message from our sponsors (me):

I dare to hope again, even if it was extinguished  before. :D

SPM Timetable Out! :O

Title says it all, no time to chat. Here's the link http://www.moe.gov.my/lpm/files/spm/JadualWaktuSPM2009Pin1-5Feb2009.pdf

Extracts from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

 Pg 284

Although Harry much preferd this new laughing, joking  Ron to the moody, agressive midel he had been enduring for the last few weeks, the improved Ron came at a heavy price. Firsty , he had to put up with the frequent presence of Lavender Brown, who seemed to regard any moment that she was not kissing Ron as a moment wasted; and secondly, Harry found himself, once more, the best friend of two people who seemed unlikely ever to speak to each other again.

~Rings a bell doesn't it, well not really the first part but more of the second one. How? I don't want to name names, but you guys make sense of this yourselves. (:

Pg 540

" I am not worried Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. " I am with you."

Awww...Touching indeed and shocking but puzzling. Toodles

The Beauty Within

Yesterday, I found someone that stand for what I believe in. I think you should watch this video first and read the rest after watching to get what I mean.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

Have you watched it? If yes, :)

She was ridiculed by those thousands of cynical people. But she stood through it all, hardly flinching or giving any notice to those around her who doubted her. But sadly, this is how the world is, rewarding based on beauty not on talent, so much so that our view and image of beauty is so badly distorted. Susan Boyle jolts us back to our senses to realise that beauty is truly within. Not only the singing but the attitude. She has not kissed a man before, and is turning 48 this year. People laughed at her, but she plowed on. She had to take care of her ageing parents and fulfilled her mother's wish to enter this contest. I just want to take this oppurtunity to help you to realise that we must have a wider outlook on life and not judge on outward appreances. She probably lives a simple live and ignores the jeers and taunts thrown at her especially by Simon Cowell, not that I am blaming him.

Susan Boyle has now become an international phenomenon. Look at this vid, 16 million hits already. :)

Watching this video makes me feel good. I hope it does the same to you.

Warning: Cynicism is not accepted here.

Progress for The Sake of Progress

Quoting Proffessor Umbridge, who was idiot, frog, toad with bulging eyes, probably hyperthyroidism. " Progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged" I disagree, of course she has some points, why progress for nothing, we must have something in mind with every step forward. I urge the people who created the school rules to read Dolores Umbridge's speech in the starting feast.

WHY,oh why? Why must we go out of the class during recess. They say we have to eat, and I can understand maybe to avoid spillage, but those who have a clear conscience only wanting to study in class, get some extra revision time. ?WTH?! They say " To avoid people stealing things from class. " How lame, how poor, how inexplicably revealing of the flaws in our school's brains. Why the heck would 5 Amanahians want to steal our own things, I suggest a lack of common sense in these geniuses. :( Think again, if we are in the class during recess, wouldn't that prevent things from being stolen. If you disagree, I urge you to chase us out during lessons too as we are in the class right? Come on, chase us, HALAu us! Maybe a new system can be brought into being.  A system where prefects watch over classes during recess to prevent so called "theft", or control the situation.

This reflects the very mentality of the enforcers of discipline. We would expect proactive people to know when and where to tweak rules, and prune practices that must be pruned. These "by-the-book" people follow these rules blindly without giving them a second thought. Maybe if we had thinking, feeling people, problems would not arise. My deepest sympathies with Darwin Raj who was denied permission to do his work during recess and was forced out of the class. This brutality has to be stopped immediately. I can't imagine why Darwin would want to steal anything if he has an essay to complete after recess. :O . Then the problem arises, the teachers won't allow it, maybe we should try to talk some sense. Discuss to gain a win-win situation. I can hardly blame the enforcers themselves, but maybe try to understand and feel, maybe with a little common sense, and then carry out duties.

Another thing, students aren't  supposed to smoke school right? Then why are we not doing anything, not even trying or bothering to do anything about the SMOKY recess outbreaks? Why are we busy trying to stop people from entering classes, even 3 or 4 at a time while the toilet is free of them? I understand, you can't do much, but maybe a presence in numbers, or teachers can do wonders, can it? Try focusing on hot spots of trouble, like the toilet, upper classes and so on. Maybe there is effort, but unseen to the public eye. But mayyyybe, they think they can pick on us because we don't want to cause a scene and fight for our rights, but they can call on their gangs to beat them up. Yeah, that's it.

So, nothing much will come out of this posting except a few more friends lost, or tempers flaring or maybe, just mayyybe, a few hoots of support. I can just hope for change for the better.

P/s I mean you no harm. So don't go bananas, or get angry at me, I think I have the right to suggest.
